How to install your safe?

Important information

  • Safes and strong cabinets (excluding wall safes) must be securely anchored to the floor.
  • It is imperative to secure them to a concrete wall (floor and/or wall) to prevent theft in the event of a burglary.
  • We recommend engaging a certified professional to secure your safe or opting for the “delivery + installation” option when placing your order. This ensures that no object that could be used as a lever can be inserted between the floor and the safe.
The “delivery + installation” option also includes commissioning and training on the use, configuration, and operation of the lock.

In-Wall safe

We do not carry out masonry work to make the hole for the safe.
You will therefore need to call in a bricklayer to install your safe.

Fixing the safe or security cabinet

<!> The safe must be placed securely on the floor. <!> It is imperative to secure your safe (or strong cabinet) to a concrete wall (floor and/or wall) to prevent theft in the event of a burglary. Each safe and strong cabinet comes with a fixing bolt and contains 2 fixing holes: one placed on the bottom wall and one placed on the rear wall. To secure your safe (or strong cabinet) to a concrete wall, you will need the following tools:
  • Marker: for marking
  • Bubble level: to ensure the safe is level
  • Drill with 18mm or 24mm drill bit (depending on the model)
  • Air blower: to clean dust from the hole in the concrete
  • Mallet: to drive in the bolt
  • 19mm or 24mm ratchet wrench (depending on the model): to tighten the fixing
